**AUSSIES AVAILABLE IN HOUSTON**

Milo
STAR #252

Did you say you wanted a blue merle Aussie?  Maybe you can’t decide if you want a blue merle or a red merle.  With Milo, there is no decision to be made except for how soon you can get him home!  Milo is a harlequin Aussie!  This rare coloration is hard to find, and there are not many of them to be had.

Milo is a sweetheart in addition to his beautiful coloring.  He is on the smaller size of average for a male.  Milo is crate and house trained and is being conditioned by his current foster home.  Milo has met the neighborhood children and seems to be fine with them; however, Milo will not be considered for a home with young children or grandchildren.

Milo is thought to be about 2-3 years of age and loves to be by your side.  Milo has an exceptionally heavy and almost wiry coat in places so he will need to be brushed frequently.  It is not a coat that tangles easily, but does need more care than some Aussies.  Milo gets along fabulously with other dogs both male and female and would be an outstanding addition to any pet home.  It is not known how Milo does with cats, but he has the type of personality that could possibly get along with cats who are already used to living with dogs.

Jack
  STAR
#253

Jack is a beautiful, lightly colored red merle male. Jack is about 18 mo. old and is surprisingly laid back for a youngster of this age. Jack weighs about 40 lbs. but should gain some weight, so he probably will end up around 45 lbs. when he fully matures. Jack is definately crate trained and schedule trained on his housebreaking. Jack knows a few basic commands as sit. He is good, but not excellent on the leash and walking him is no problem. Jack has a sweet and gentle nature. He is initially a bit hand shy and we question if that has to do with the fact that he does not jump up on people. Jack takes a bit of time to adapt to a new situation, so it will take some time and patience for Jack to acclimate to his new forever home. Jack is also good with cats due to his laid back nature. Jack will make an excellent pet for someone. He is not a ball player or an excitable Aussie as many are. He is simply a loving, sweet boy who will be forever faithful to his people.
